ACARD Next-Generation 16CH DVR is to be released ( MPEG4, D1 Resolution )

 July 15, 2008, Taipei –
ACARD corp. will release in mid-July the ADR-7216, a new advanced 16ch DVR. The new DVR adapts MPEG4 digital video compression and supports D1 resolution to deliver high video quality and allow the same HDD capacity to hold much longer video recordings. System functionality has also been overhauled to enhance network support, access control, storage expansion and deliver a high level of system reliability, all features required by advanced users.
Graphic User Interface
Apart from its enhanced video processing, storage expansion and reliability, the ADR-7216 also received an easy-to-use graphical user interface, making this professional DVR even more user-friendly. Thanks to the intuitive graphical user interface, no additional software or training is required for the user. Even those who aren't familiar with computer usage can now easily master all of the controls for this DVR.
CMS Support
Another feature worth mentioning is the advanced network function support in this DVR. Configuration, control, playback and real-time monitoring can now all be performed remotely via the network interface. The CMS central control software is also included for free, allowing for the centralized management of multiple DVRs in different locations monitoring different area.
