Overview

ACARD Technology Corp. has produced AEC-6896, a four-channel RAID adapter, for Serial ATA, the newest storage interface. AEC-6896 supports 64-bit PCI specifications with data transfer rate up to 533MB/sec.

AEC-6896 has the functions of RAID 0, 1, 0+1 and JBOD. The Windows-based RAID Utility provides you a GUI tool to easily manage the RAID subsystem. Being a highly efficient interface in data transfer and backup, AEC-6896 is fit for PC workstations, servers, etc.
